Openings

The photographs in this book were taken on a cross-country trip from Arizona to Indiana in the summer of 2006. They are photographs of old, neglected doors and windows in abandoned buildings and houses in several small Midwestern towns. The project was an attempt to correlate images with quotations from authors whose writings have influenced my life.
