From asking what sort of country will you be flying your birds in, to what kind of birds would be suitable and how to go about getting them. From there he describes the various type of hunting can be done and how to go about it. The second half of the book is called "How I became a Falconer", and describe this experts rise to prowess, through experience and anecdote. This book, first published in 1869, is as fascinating and insightful today, as the day it was first printed and is recommended for anyone with an interest in falconry.
