Positive Parenting Through Crises: Helping Children Cope Effectively in Divorce
As unfortunate as it may be, one out of every two marriages today ends in divorce and many of these divorcing families involve children. Quite naturally, one of the number one concerns of these divorcing parents is how the divorce will affect their children. This program was specifically developed to assist the participant in helping to minimize emotional and psychological damage done to children of divorce, both in the short and long term.
Education is key and better understanding these unique challenges can give parents an advantage in helping their children get beyond the pain and confusion of divorce and go on to lead healthy and productive lives. So stay focused on the fact that you and your spouse will have a significant influence on whether you children adjust and go on to live happy, full lives or are permanently and irreparably scarred by your divorce.
