Sean Kayne is a striving artist working in many mediums. When he decides to write a novel about a very large alligator in Florida, his entire life becomes a reptilian metaphor full of predatorial analogies. Although an absurdist tale of nightmarish parallel stories, Sean does in fact find sobering moments along the way--even when he is drunk.
