Set in SWEDEN. 100 years before the VIKINGS. THE TRIAL A strange encounter, with an old man, leads Frode to his first ‘case’: in a nearby village, a man has died and his wife says he has been poisoned. But has he been poisoned? If so, how, and by whom? Frode is unsure of himself and unsure of what to do. Despite finding himself so full of doubt, he soon has to face up to his very own trial... THE TWO SISTERS Frode is travelling south, when he encounters the sinister “Two Sisters”. He soon finds himself on the trail of a murderer and a thief. But who to suspect? Strangers that passed in the night, or someone closer to home? Frode feels sure he knows what has happened, but how can he prove it? Because these stories are, basically, 'old fashioned' detective stories, the Frode books can be read in any order.
