"Power To The People": Application To Be A UK Parliamentary Candidate 2009

In May 2009, David Cameron, Leader of the British Conservative Party, issued a call for new Parliamentary Candidates. Essentially he said he wanted folks who were not cookie-cutter professional politicians, to address what he saw as the public’s deficit of trust in the British body politic. I answered the call. They heard. They considered. They even bought my other Lulu book ("Dead Men Don't Eat Lunch"). But they thought better. I am still proud of the Application for the statement it makes of my own involvement in civic life. The formatting is shot to hell. But this document records the words of the Application, the References in support and my Resumes at the time. Beyond that, I am at the mercy of technology…
