THIS IS A HARDCOVER COPY. The Barnard White Family Book was originally published by Ruth Johnson and Glen F. Harding, MD in 1967. Barnard White was a prominent businessman in Utah in the 1800's after joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with his family in London, England in 1854. He and his family crossed the plains in the Hunt Wagon Company in 1856, accompanying the Martin Handcart Company. Barnard, then 16 years of age, suffered the deprivations of Martin's Cove with his family and many others. This was his beginning in Utah. He eventually became the most successful lumber merchant in the state of Utah. The book includes information about his ancestors, siblings, wives, and children. This is a scanned replica of the entire original book.
