Metrognomes: Worse than a Gremlin

Kazkal No'tall is the most skilled warrior in all of the gnome tribe Qadash, and when the evil mud troll Grubello poisons the tribe’s princess, the king can think of no one better to answer the villain’s challenge. In order to obtain the antidote, Kazkal and a warrior from their neighboring tribe must journey to the mud troll’s lair and face an unknown challenger in battle. Whichever one of the gnome warriors can best Grubello’s champion receives the antidote. At least, that’s what the mud troll has promised. But anygnome who’s ever dealt with a mud troll knows that the rules are bound to change as the game goes on; for mud trolls are deceitful creatures, and the games they play with smaller beings almost always end in death.
