The Escapist

When Tom Don was seventeen years old, his mother was murdered by his best friend, just as he almost was himself. Now, nearly six years later, Tom is living in Dallas and struggling to escape from all of the unspeakable horrors that he has seen and endured. “The Escapist” offers up a single scene from the life of one of the surviving characters from the novel Cry, Wolf, set several years after the tumultuous events that left the town of Nightfire, Texas in ruins.
