Acts and Signs of Believers: The Signs That Accompany the Believing Ones

Speaking of the signs of Believers, the Word says “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And these signs will follow (or accompany) those who believe. In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Jn 14:12; Mk 16:17-18). Are these signs being acted in your life, as they were seen in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles? But, instead of rejoicing that we cast out demons, prophesied, or did other mighty works, we should rather rejoice because our names are written in Heaven, so that the Lord will not tell us that He never knew us, because we are workers of iniquity!
