I Give You Dominion: Exercising the Highest Possible Authority and Power

When God created man, He spoke to man, saying “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Gen. 1:28). The four important words that explain God’s Assignment to man are: fruitfulness, multiplication, subduing, and dominion. To have dominion over something is to have authority, power, and control over the thing. Having received all authority in Heaven and on earth, the Lord told us; “Go therefore….” Go in this authority, power, and dominion!
