The Expo Master Plan Book is a compendium and analysis of the Master Plans of all major International Expositions from 1929 (Seville and Barcelona) to Milan's Expo 2015. The Master Plans are presented and described in terms of the background of each event, the organizational characteristics of the site layouts, and the legacy of each. A standardized legend facilitates comparison between the various events in terms of land use, transportation, and other features. A large appendix of data is provided which is presented in an attractive graphic format which offers additional insights into the statistical features of each event such as attendance, site areas, site density, etc. which permits comparisons and contrasts to be made between the events. For architects, urban planners, organizers of future events, and those with interest in Expos, the book is an indispensable guide to one of the most important features of these events - the site Master Plan.
