The Enchanted Barn

Shirley Hollister is the oldest of five children in the family. With the help of her oldest brother they are trying to provide for their family. Their mother is sickly and not getting better living in the dark, airless house in the city. Now they have to move and soon but Shirley prays for an answer to their situation. A rare afternoon off sends Shirley on a trolley out to the parts of the city where an open field or a tree can be seen. There she finds an abandoned barn that could work for the family at least for the summer. Before she can lose her nerve she is off to see the owner.
