About Graham Pryor

Originally from Kent, Graham Pryor has lived most of his adult life in north-east Scotland. After a decade as Director of the University of Aberdeen’s library and computing services, his career in information management culminated with five years as a director of the UK’s Digital Curation Centre, in Edinburgh. Whilst there, he produced two books assessing and promoting good practice in the management of research data; he also published his first novel, Preferred Lies, which was anchored to mid-twentieth century life on the Kent coast. Pig, his eleventh work of fiction, continued that relationship, following the exploits of a petty criminal from Folkestone who joins the police and faces up to the larger criminal community, the ruling elite. Three other books followed Pig, and he is awaiting the release of his favourite work, Cerberus, due some time in early 2024. All of his books can be found on Amazon.
