Lockdown Hanoi is a Westerner's perspective of the COVID-19 pandemic from inside Vietnam's capital city. The diary format is at times dark, occasionally witty and often insane. The journal is accompanied by many of the author's photographs, as well as pictures and excerpts from the local press. Lockdown Hanoi is an angle that those outside of the country, whose borders were firmly closed for over two years, may not have considered.
