Fifty Shades of Graydon & Doug

One book. Two authors. Five topics. Fifty entries. 99 pages. Graydon and Doug were one year apart in high school and neither remembers having any interaction with one another. Fast forward more than three decades and enter the emergence of social media. One of them friended the other and they found out they enjoyed writing, so they started communicating back-and-forth in poetic form and fashion. At first, Doug did not realize that this was the same young man he wanted to talk with in front of the pool hall. After viewing a picture or two of Graydon through social media, it dawned on him that “that was the guy”! The reunion, albeit the world wide web, was astounding and fulfilling to both. Now, reverse course to a few months ago. Somebody said, “Let’s write a book together.” Somebody said, “Okay”. Somebody started writing. Somebody decided to send the work into the publisher.
