
Taking a unique philosophical approach, the author rejects both arguments made from strictly consequentialist and nonconsequentialist perspectives on ethics, and argues for a third way of viewing ethics that really encompasses justice. He does this while providing a conclusion that we must accept gay rights on the grounds that gays and lesbians are persons.
