Imagine a world in the near future, based on 20th century as we may have liked it to be. With every last endearing, peculiar or downright warped feature and detail of history entwined into daily life. Where anyone can take the age, role, gender and species they choose! An enclosed world, firmly connected to real 21st century world too. Modern-day equivalent of Roman circuses! Follow the community leaders - and some at the bottom of the heap too! What it feels like as a seal in heavy bondage, bitch in petting zoo, citizen of the world poor and free, or a plaything of wealthy patron! I wrote this in the early 1990s, since then many aspects I imagined as far-future fantasy have become feasible. I’ve run several events on this social model, in 2005 and 2007.
