In the 1930s and early 1940s JACK BRADBURY was a top animator at Disney, working on such classics as Fantasia, Snow White, Bambi, Pinocchio and other masterpieces of early animated films; in 1944 he turned to the comics and over the next two decades became once again a master, and a prolific one, with hundreds of stories, specializing in anthropomorphic humor (funny animal comics). This collection present his work through 1946 from Happy Comics, Coo Coo Comics, Giggle Comics, Goofy Comics and others, featuring character he created and made popular – Stanley the Horse, Bagshaw Bear, Footsy hare, Fremonth Frog and so many more. JACK BRADBURY was one of the first comic creators to sign his works – not that you would have any trouble identifying his special style!
