A Jay Disbrow "Terrors Of The Jungle" Treasury (HC)
Gwandanaland Comics #1418-HC: A Great Selection Of Stories Drawn By A Master Of Adventure Comics
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Fans of Jay Disbrow are often shocked at how young the artist was when he became a prolific force in comics during the 1950s. The stories in this book were created while Disbrow was still in his 20's, though he had already been a professional for years. His panels are known for their detail an complexity; he was never one to imitate, instead being one of those artists used as the model, as in “It reminds me of Disbrow.” This book reprints some great Disbrow stories from Terrors Of The Jungle (Issues #5-7, 9, 10 & 20), along with the covers for those books and a bonus story from Dorothy Lamour #3 drawn by another master, Bill Everett.
