Attack Of The Martian Pulps Super Giant
Gwandanaland Science-Fiction Library #43 --- 35 Classic Stories Of Mars, Martians, and all Things Mars-Like From The Golden Age Of SF!
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
While no official study has been done (so far as I know), there is no doubt that of the planets in our solar system, Mars has provided us with the greatest number of invasions, adventures, and encounters, both here and on the Red Planet itself. From its first discovery, and especially when it was “discovered” that Mars contains canals, or the remnants of such, writers and readers have traveled to and from our distant neighbor – often with great success and sometimes ending in terrible tragedy. In the science-fiction pulps of the 20th Century, it was the rare issue that did not contain some reference to Mars, and the rare author who did not venture there at least once.
ATTACK OF THE MARTIAN PULPS gathers adventures from and about the planet Mars. IN this series you will find famous stories from well-known authors, and obscure tales by writers whose names, sadly, we have not seen often enough.
These pages are taken directly from public domain pulp magazines, which almost by definition (pulp being the cheapest and least resilient paper available at the time) are weathered and aged, even at times damaged. We worked our magic to make them as readable and attractive as possible, but you should expect imperfection, and we hope that you enjoy their imperfect authenticity.
Volumes 1-3 of this collection ARE NOW available as ATTACK OF THE MARTIAN PULPS SUPER-GIANT.
