Some of the Mightiest Heroes of the Golden Age came together in the 1960s to battle against crime, evil, and super-villains. The Shield (Pep Comics, 1940), The Comet (Pep Comics, 1940), Black Hood (Top Notch Comics, 1940), along with Fly-Man and Fly-Girl, made of the team called the MIGHT CRUSADERS. The courageous defenders of justice and liberty were revived when Archie Comics saw the success of Marvel and DC superheroes, and brought together due to the success of Justice League, Avengers, and Legion of Super-Heroes. The team came together in Fly-Man, and then were launched in their own comic in 1965. This great collection begins with The Adventures of The Fly / Fly-Man! Tommy Troy, by rubbing his powerful ring, has the ability to transform into Fly-Man, with amazing insect powers! He began as a solo hero, but soon teamed up with Flygirl and then The Mighty Crusaders. This book also feature appearances by other Golden Age Greats such as Mr. Justice, The Web and more! PLUS BONUS ISSUES: The Jaguar #14-15 & “What Evil Lurks...” ! During a short period of the mid 1960s, some Archie Comics titles were published without a proper copyright notice, making them public domain.
