There are certain things you expect from a pre-code horror comic: some violence, the occasional vampire and/or werewolf, definitely bondage or inappropriate situations for the time, and beautiful women who either are rescued from a grisly fate, are NOT rescued from a grisly fate, or in some way bring others to a grisly fate. STRANGE MYSTERIES did not disappoint. The stories and artwork are excellent and the BWTM ratio (That's “Beautiful-Women-To-Monster” ratio) is some of the best of the era. STRANGE MYSTERIES brings you story after story that will make you shiver just a little bit --- or, if you're the squeamish type, a lot! With the exception of one damaged page of a text story, THIS COLLECTION IS NOW COMPLETE! Many thanks to Mark Boersma, a great Gwandanalander, who provided the final pieces of the puzzle!
