BEN BOWIE AND HIS MOUNTAIN MEN is a non-traditional western comic, in that instead of taking place in the “wild west” or traditional fame, it's set in the earlier days, when the west was barely to the Midwest of modern day, and where the English and the French vied for power and alliances among the Native Americans. Although fiction, BEN BOWIE stories are better-researched and more accurate with regards to cultures, technology and events than most westerns, and most comics – this makes for even more exciting reading!
