This exciting mix of aviation adventure/mystery and the supernatural began in wings comics #66 (February 1946) as GHOST PATROL, but soon changed its name to GHOST SQUADRON and enjoyed a thrilling run through issue #113 (Winter 1951). The ghostly pilots used their supernatural appearances to bring justice and vengeance when it was sorely needed, and to save the lives of those who proved worthy. This great series was drawn in largest part by Maurice Whitman, debuting in #69 and picking up the mantle from Rafael Astarita in #80. This is the first complete collection of GHOST SQUADRON ever, and most of these stories have not been seen in print for over 70 years!
