The MARVEL FAMILY from Fawcett were at one time the most popular comic heroes on the planet. They appeared in hundreds of issues, dozens of titles, over many, many years. Many of the early issues and stories are public domain, but at some point the company who controlled the copyright realized they were letting some amazing material slip through their fingers. They began renewing the copyrights to key titles to retain the rights. Most of the later books from Master Comics, Captain Marvel Adventures, Marvel Family and Captain Marvel Jr. were renewed and cannot be reprinted. The good news is – they missed a few in Mar-April of 1952 and Mar-April of 1953. We don't know why – maybe someone misplaced some files, maybe the office party got a little too intense, maybe someone just slept in too late one day and then forgot. Whatever the reason, we have a smattering of issues which are public domain, and that we have gathered together in this amazing collection: Captain Marvel Adventures #130 & 142 Captain Marvel Jr. #107 & 118 Marvel Family #81 Master Comics #127 & 133
