About H. Dirk Macgrieve

H. Dirk Macgrieve, is the eldest of two siblings, was born in Charleston, South Carolina, He grew up as U.S. Navy Brat, in those first years of his life, his family traveled to wherever his father was stationed for the most part. As fate would have it in the early part spring of 2006, Dirk was in an automobile accident. That event in his life had become a profound life changing experience for him. He was now placed at a cross roads in his life, with no certainty of which direction he should take in the days to come. With his so be it; inner compass spinning out of control, and not knowing what he would be doing next in his life. One of his dearest friends suggested to him that it was a good time to open a journal, and start writing his thoughts and feelings down in those pages. That actually became a healing process for him, and started Dirk down the path to becoming a now published author.
