This is the true story of how I found my 5 times great grandmother Catherine Weissenberg and my 5 times great grandfather Sir William Johnson and the great love of his later years Gonwatsijayenni also known as Molly Brandt who was a Mohawk of the Wolf clan. Both women were lied to and deceived by Sir William Johnson who might have thought he would get away with it in colonial America and maybe he did. Now the truth can be told thanks to the internet age. The big dispute was always who should inherit the title of Baronet of New York? Catherine Weissenbergs son John or a son of Molly Brant or one of his many other sons.
