The present story is without a happy ending. In traditional documentary photography, a story is told from an isolated position. In effect, events happen to others. An alternative viewpoint, using first person perspective, raises questions about objectivity. Normally, viewers assume that photographic evidence remains free from prejudice or malice. Alternatively, I suggest that photographers bend the truth knowingly.
