The Parts of Me That Protest is a deeply personal project for me; this poetry book is filled with raw, emotional, and moving poems written with themes of love, heartbreak, grief, loss, insecurity, growing up, and moving on. I hope that these poems unbury emotions you otherwise would have presumed dead. Because writing that makes you think and writing that allows perspective is good.
