University of Dayton Senior Capstone and Synthesis - PDF Download

In 2006 at UD I completed two senior projects, each a prerequisite for graduation. The first: A Capstone Senior Photography Portfolio. The second: A Criminal Justice Studies Senior Synthesis Publication. The Bachelor of Fine Art Photography Capstone Portfolio is comprised of two parts: The Final Portfolio, for “Beyond Exposure: The Senior Exhibition” and The Final Presentation. The Bachelor of Arts Criminal Justice Studies degree required a semester of intense research that concluded with the official publication of a synthesis paper discussing various aspects of the data collected. The research involved in the publication of my synthesis “An Ex-Post Facto Study: Correlating Crime Rates and the Degradation of Urban Society” directly influenced my Capstone Photography Portfolio.
