Coursing and Falconry

This book deals with two subjects both bloodsports. The first Coursing, has long since been outlawed but within these pages we have an insight into the community or Coursers and the “art” of putting the dogs to the hare, along with the breeding and care of the dogs. The second half deals with Falconry, and discusses the various birds the falconer can make use of, of their training and details their care.
