From Ocle Pychard to the Bishop's Palace - A Trillo family story
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Originally intended as a ‘chapter’ in the magnum opus concerning the whole Trillo family history, this slim volume covering 11 generations of one branch of the family originating in Ocle Pychard, Herefordshire, is published to give the current members of that branch a substantive record of their ancestors that they can pass on to future generations.
Also of interest to members of the wider Trillo family (and families related by marriage), this narrative involves yeomen and husbandmen, farm labourers, Big House servants, skilled town craftsmen, soldiers and marines, coachmen and chauffeurs, and lastly a man of the Church, a range of socio-economic situations that reflects the diversity of English Society from the 17th to the 20th century.
The ‘great work’ is in the course of being written, with many chapters completed, as this one is now, but there is at least a year’s work still to do, and with the Coronavirus threatening the curtailment of life, especially of authors in their 70s, the question must be asked, will the book ever be finished? Hence the publication of new chapters as they are created.
It is hoped that family members will appreciate this account of their ancestors.
