Write from the Jungle is a collection of stories and articles by A. Hyatt Verrill, who travelled extensively in the Americas. His writings are as varied as the places he visited and his expertise shows in many of these tales. These selections are from a number of American periodicals of the time. Part of Verrill’s fame was that he spent over 30 years in jungles, still finding the time to compose stories and keep current with the science of the day (1900-1950s). His nonfiction includes travel, photography, people, and animals. One book length story here involves some boys misadventures with the Incas.
These stories span a timeframe from 1900 to 1950.
