Love. Grief. Depression. Everything in-between. June 30th, 2022 is a collection of emotions in the form of poetry. These poems encapsulate a time of falling apart internally after a failed relationship or dealing with the emotional aftermath of remembering someone who has been lost. Every poem listed is intended to be a rollercoaster that builds emotions up and meticulously breaks them down. The following collection includes topics that we as people tend to keep hidden and tucked away such as: relationships, addiction, mental health, suicide, and more. These are the things we don’t say to others or the things we wished we had said but failed to do so when the time came. The imagery used creates a memoir-like rendition of the timeframe being described: heartbreak, assessing the damage done, and figuring out if it is best to leave the broken pieces behind or try to mend those parts of yourself back together again.
