Gypsy Rose Thorne was gothic, which made her an outcast in her small Indiana town. Raised by her abusive, alcoholic father, shunned at her high school, disvalued and alone. Gypsy's only escape from the harsh price of individuality was her poetry, which she preferred to sneak away and write in the serene setting of Walnut Hill Cemetery. It was in that cemetery one night as Gypsy wrote, her words and thoughts consumed with her own suicide, that she would meet Damian Chambers. A man, dark and different, that would not only affirm the existence of love for her but also divulge a creature long ago dismissed as myth. It would be Damian's kiss that would wake feelings long dead within Gypsy and it would be his bite that would invite her to run with the pack.
