About Ian Tyndall

Ian Tyndall has worked in the technology field for fifteen years. During that time he has worked in a number of different roles for a Fortune 100 company ranging from field sales to technical architecture and project management. Ian has been frustrated by complexity and constraints that legacy technology infrastructure places on a firm. The move towards cloud computing may hold the key to unlocking a better way forward, but it may also introduce a new kind of complexity that shifts the expense and burden of maintaining and upgrading computing systems outside of the traditional IT department. Ian is a doctoral student at the University of Maryland University College focusing his dissertation on project management and technology innovation. He received his MBA from Thunderbird the School of Global Management and his BS in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
