Briars

Ado is a book-smart man, full of youth and energy but lacking any sort of experience or basic common sense. Thigorious is a giant, kind in heart but lacking in IQ who takes pleasure from the simple life, and is more or less dragged on the adventure. The midget is Ado’s opposite- a cunning, bitter genius who sees life through calculating eyes, unperturbed by morals. Living in the fictional town of Briars, three main characters manage to uncover an ancient secret: a mystical egg is set to hatch, releasing a bird that will destroy Briars and the world. Controlled by the elves, this bird will cause death and destruction to all people, men, giants, and midgets included. The characters overconfidently take it upon themselves to save the world. The group splits up early on in the book, where they meet a pair of giant twins and a variety of other mythical creatures. They travel into the forest…
