The Amorous Adventures of Margot

Illustrated by digital artist Vic Tordant with not less than 16 images (including the cover) ”The Amorous Adventures of Margot” recounts the social rise of a young Margot who advances from middle-class mending-girl to courtesan, climbing atop not a few partners in the process. In the company of lords, madams, a troop of soldiers, financiers, and clergy, our young protagonist will experience ravishment beyond measure, awakening within her a libidinous desire to be thus dominated. Written in 1750 and later translated into English by the notorious Victorian publisher William Dugdale in 1857, this gem of renaissance erotica will shock and delight as it did over 250 years ago.
