The Fighting Fifth - History of the 5th Indian Division

The 5th Indian Division fought against the Italians, the Germans and the Japanese in the course of its long war: from launching the Commonwealth's first land offensive at Gallabat in the Sudan, through Abyssinia, the Western Desert, Persia/Iraq, Burma and Singapore to peacekeeping in Java. This short history is a near-facsimile of the 1945/6 publication with some minor changes to the layout to accommodate the original's fold-out maps.
