Wally, thank you for an outstanding cricket and football career. With your contribution, you and your teams have won many awards, as shown on the pages of this book. During your career in sports, you have shown respect and sportsmanship for your team members, opponents, and authority. What I respected the most was your remarkable talents as a batsman and wicketkeeper in cricket and as a player and coach in football. Also, we appreciated your unconditional confidence on and off the field – a multi-talented sportsman indeed! Your fans appreciate your efforts and the effortless way you approach your sports goals with purpose, quality, consistency, integrity, patience, and kindness to others. The organizations (First Life, CALICO, and ALCAN) that employ your services must be proud of your achievements on and off the field. Also, the communities you served, Chapelton in Clarendon, Old Harbour, Ewarton in St. Catherine, Kingston, and all the other townships, including Guyana, where you have displayed your talents.
