Firehair is a comic book character who appeared as a regular feature in Rangers Comics, published by Fiction House. She premiered in issue #21 (February 1945) and appeared in every issue through #65 (May 1952) . She was featured on each Rangers Comics cover beginning with issue #40. Firehair also appeared in eleven issues Of her own quarterly title from Winter 1948 to Spring 1952 (Issues were titled Pioneer West Romances) . It is not known who created Firehair, but the majority Of the stories were written by John Mitchell under the pseudonym John Starr. The majority Of the art was done by Lee Elias, Bob Lubbers , and Robert Webb.
