What My Parents Didn't Tell Me... (WMPDTM) is a combination of an autobiography and philosophical works of Isaiah Rashad, II. Written over a period of 11 years, Isaiah delves deep into matters of his life, addressing failures, sorrows and observations of himself in connection with human relationships. He discovers many of the problems of human beings and in short unsystematic words, tells us the solution. He speaks to the reader, which were initially intended for his children, however, now the intent is for young adults who are about to enter the world as single self-responsible adults. Isaiah speaks regarding business; family life; law enforcement; teaching; parenting; leadership; marriage; divorce; rape, and so much more, having been his direct experiences which may relate to us all in some way. Isaiah tells each of them, and all what to do, and not do, hoping that they listen to his words to find comfort and harmony in their life, a works that will be relevant for all time.
