Angel Geisha

Alaina was an angel whom lived many lives, and in one of them, she learned of strength in humanity.... as a girl named Tomoe who had no memory of who and what she really was. Tomoe was taken as a slave from her sister only to pay off a duty her father had left behind in death, going from simple living in Okinawa to learning martial arts as well as other practical tasks on a ship to survive. When given away yet again, she was given a place called home on a ship by her new owner, who just so happened to want more for her than calloused hands and blood on dangerous waters. The life of a geisha, although hard, allowed potential for her to live in a world of beauty. Was it enough for her to have a more luxurious life without danger? Who would say in her life and who would leave it? Will her submission and newfound faith in humanity kill her?
