Unser neues Geld!

Unser neues Geld! (Our new money!), written by schoolteacher J. Balda in 1858, informed the people of the Austrian Empire about the monetary changes caused by the monetary and customs union between the German States, Liechtenstein and the Austrian Empire. It contains information on the old monetary systems in the separate countries and describes the new monetary system, tables of conversion and depicts the new coins. Although completely written in the German language, this facsimile of the improved and extended 4th edition, originally published in 1859, provides interesting information to numismatists.
