An experiment gone awry sends Professor Jeremiah Hawks to the far reaches of our galaxy! There he discovers an enslaved race of beings awaiting the arrival of the "Earthman" who will open up the Word of God. Is he the promised one? Should they wait for another? However, everyone is not thrilled with his arrival! The professor is regarded as a political threat by the enslaving empire! He must evade authorities at every turn! Even his traveling companion will sell his soul to return to Earth. All seems lost as a hidden terror appears to threaten the oppressed and oppressor alike.
