The Epiphany in Miller Square

The Epiphany in Miller Square

ByJacqueline De Haan

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
In the small town of Danbury, Michigan, nothing ever seems to change. And then, walking home from church one Sunday, Janie McAllister discovers what she believes is a miracle: a dormant pear tree that was planted twenty-five years ago has bloomed. The Epiphany in Miller Square follows the surprising, often comedic and sometimes tender journeys of four characters - Janie, Laurie, Mike, Jr. and Suzanne – as they respond to the possibility that a miracle might occur in their own lives. Each must re-examine their dreams in the shade of the flowering pear tree and decide what this event means to them. Ultimately, they each learn that miracles come in unexpected packages, and that what we do with these small moments of grace can be just as important as the event itself.
