James Allen (1864-1912) was a British philosopher who wrote poetry and inspirational and motivational books. He was a pioneer of self-help books. He also ran his own magazine, The Epoch, and was interested in spiritual and social issues. He wrote many books, of which As A Man Thinketh is the most famous. Allen did not write about theories, but about facts verified by his own experience.
This edition presents the original English text together with the Spanish translation, side by side. Reading parallel texts in a foreign language and in their native language is ideal for learners who want to acquire vocabulary, expressions and grammatical constructions. Parallel texts in two languages eliminate the need to resort to external resources, such as dictionaries, and the reader can concentrate on reading, without losing comprehension.
