The Marker

Follow the story of a knife, manufactured in the mid-1700's in England, that travels through a series of owners who steal it, who kill for it, who take it overseas and use it as an instrument of war, who forget about it, who use it as a bargaining chip, who bury it in a tree where it remains for close to a century. Murder, mayhem, and thievery follow the knife as it traverses through the people and times that forged America, and her growing pains, to become the country she is today; a country laced with the fears of tomorrow.
