‘Dad there’s something under my bed,’ Carol said as she forced her Dad’s eyes open, ‘Dad please wake up because there’s something under my bed and it’s making funny noises and it sounds like it’s talking to itself,’ and when they looked there was something but it was a good something and Carol’s Dad knew it was a good something because it was the same something that had been under his bed when he was Carol’s age but why had Karen come back?
